A brand-new song from Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Half Girlfriend’ has dropped online. Titled ‘Thodi Der’, it is a soft romantic track in the vocals of Shreya Ghoshal and Farhan Saeed, who has also composed it with a mix of traditional instruments like harmonium and sarangi, and acoustic guitar. The lyrics by Kumaar urges the beloved to stay for some more time.

The movie has Arjun in the role of a Bihari boy named Madhav Jha, while Shraddha plays a sophisticated Delhiite Riya Somani. The video opens with Shraddha asking Arjun about his dreams, who innocently replies that all he wants is that a beautiful girl should sing for him. ‘Half Girlfriend’ is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s coming-of-age novel of the same name. Arjun has previously starred in another screen adaptation of the celebrity writer’s book ‘2 States’ opposite Alia Bhatt. Chetan himself is co-producing the film with Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Motion Pictures, while Mohit Suri has directed it.
