Govinda’s son Yashvardhan Ahuja spotted on ‘Dishoom’ sets

Govinda’s daughter Tina Ahuja made her Bollywood debut last year with ‘Second Hand Husband’, and now it is the turn of his son Yashvardhan Ahuja. The 20-year-old has done a filmmaking course from London's Met Film School and is currently working for filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala's marketing team.

Yashvardhan was seen on the sets of Varun Dhawan and John Abraham starrer ‘Dishoom’ which is produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. He was spotted in the making video of the films item number ‘Jaaneman Aah’ featuring Varun and Parineeti Chopra, who also pulled in designer Manish Malhotra in their fun chit-chat.

The star-kid is seen wearing a checked shirt and a cap and observing the actors having fun. But she seems to be conscious of the camera capturing him as he looks down and tries to hide his face.

A few months ago Yashvardhan had revealed that acting is his passion and expressed his wish to work with directors like David Dhawan and Imtiaz Ali. "I have seen all of Imtiaz sir's films and I'm in awe of his work. David sir is a legend and I would love to do a comedy with Varun bhaiyya, on the lines of ‘Jodi No 1’," he had said.

He appears to be learning the ropes about filmmaking before making his acting debut, just like other contemporary actors are doing.

Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor have first worked as assistant directors before becoming the stars that they are. Even Varun assisted Karan Johar on his 2010 directorial ‘My Name Is Khan’ before his acting debut in ‘Student of the Year’.

Yash has been working with Sajid Nadiadwala for some months now and said, “Sajid uncle gave me the best advice -to go with the flow and acquire knowledge on all aspects of filmmaking, including editing and writing before getting into acting. I will also assist him on ‘Kick 2’."
