After releasing two songs, Naino Ne Baandhi and Chad Gayi Hai, the makers of ‘Gold’ have unveiled the third song which goes as ‘Ghar Layenge Gold’ and it shows how Akshay Kumar determined to win Gold for India in hockey.

It shows his enthusiasm, determination and hard work to bring the best hockey players from around the country and play and win Gold for India.

The song was crooned by Daler Mehndi and composed by Sachin-Jigar. It is quite energetic and powerful.

‘Gold’ is a story of a patriotic man who dreams to win gold for free India and finally his dream came true after 12 years but the path was not cakewalk. He had to cross many barriers to make India proud. Mouni Roy plays Akshay Kumar’s Bengali wife.

One of the film’s producers Ritesh Sidhwani told news agency PTI, "It is not a biopic. It is a completely fictional story but it is set against a real backdrop between 1933-48 India about what the country was, the sports... about hockey. It is not based on any character."

Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani jointly produce ‘Gold’ under Excel Entertainment. The film is slated to release on August 15 (Independence Day).
