Ginni Chatrath is pregnant, Kapil Sharma to become father soon

Five months into marriage and good news has come all the way from Kapil Sharma and his wife Ginni Chatrath. Kapil and Ginni are all set to welcome their first child. Kapil’s mother is currently stationed in Mumbai to take care of her pregnant bahu.

Kapil and Ginni tied the knot on December 12, 2018, as per Sikh tradition followed by a grand wedding reception in Mumbai for industry friends and close ones.

Kapil had also seen bad phase in life and after marriage Ginni is taking extra care of her husband. "Ginni is taking great care of Kapil, right from yoga to sending him to the gym to boiled vegetables and everything else. Kapil bhai has also become very calm and patient," Bharti Singh said in an interview.

Before their wedding, Kapil Sharma told about his wedding with Ginni Chatrath to IANS, “My mother has been saying that I should get married for a long time. Suddenly I realised that ‘abhi age ho rahi hai’ (I am getting on in age). So, I thought what if she says ‘no’ and after one or two years, no one agrees to get married to me.”

Kapil and Ginni have known each other since their college days. The ace comedian said, “I have known her for 10 years since my college days in Jalandhar. I used to go to her college to do stand-up comedy. I fell in love with her first, then my mother fell in love with her and that's when I felt I should make it official. She not only completes me but is my better half."

Kapil had also joked that he did try to stop his marriage but the love and caring nature of Ginni made him tie the marital knot on December 12 last year. The ace-comedian had retorted, “Maine shaadi rokne ki bahut koshish ki, par kuch nahin hua (laughs). Jokes apart, I am ecstatic to be with Ginni and I know this marriage will be a huge change in my life. Discipline aayega. She takes good care of me and is a huge support in my life. People like me are surrounded by many people at work or events or otherwise, but when you come home, ghar khali lagta hai.”

Congratulations to Kapil and Ginni!
