Genelia makes Bollywood comeback, hubby Riteish excited


Actress Genelia D’Souza Deshmukh who quit films after getting married to actor Riteish Deshmukh is set to make a comeback. The ‘Jane Tu...Ya Janena’ actress has already begun shooting for her new project.

Genelia was last seen in the lead role in 2012 film ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’ opposite her husband Riteish. The actress who is making a comeback after a gap of three years took to Twitter to share her excitement.

“On my way to shoot... Excited as hell... Been 3 years since I last shot but I have a feeling it's going to be a Good Good Day...," the 28-year-old actress wrote.

Her husband also gave his best wishes saying she is a born actress. "It's going to be a Greattttt Dayyy - you were born for this," Riteish, whose latest film ‘Bangistan’ released recently, tweeted.

Mother of an eight-month-old son, Genelia had made guest appearances in superstar Salman Khan's 2014 film ‘Jai Ho’ and her Marathi production ‘Lai Bhaari, which released last year.

Genelia began her acting career with the 2003 hit ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’. She has also acted in a number of Tollywood movies. She received her first Filmfare Award in 2006 for her performance in the Telugu film ‘Bommarilu’.
