Gauri Khan, Shahid Kapoor visit Karan Johar’s twins at home

After spending weeks at neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) of a hospital in Mumbai, filmmaker Karan Johar has brought his kids home. On Wednesday, Karan was clipped outside the hospital with his babies.

The children were under the supervision of Bhupendra Avasthi, the director of the hospital.

“The children were admitted on February 7. They were born premature at 30 weeks. They are now 37 weeks old. Today was the 50th day of their admission to the hospital,” a source said.

No sooner the kids reached home, visitors keeps rolling Karan’s residence. Yesterday, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan were clicked entering Karan’s residence and now Gauri Khan and Shahid Kapoor went to meet the twins. Shahid, who is also a father seems quite excited to meet Yash and Roohi. He smiled and weved to the paparazzi.

Karan had said about his twins, “I have grown up listening to lot of Hindi film music whether it is Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi, Asha Bhosle among others. I want in their (twins’s) nursery; some of my favourite music should play all the time.”

Karan’s twins, Yash and Roohi were born via surrogacy. They were born premature and so they were under special care. The filmmaker had a very limited visitors everyday for the children's safety. Karan names his twins after his parents, Yash Johar and Hiroo Johar.  Karan has promised to reveal the picture of his baby soon.
