‘Fukrey’ actor Ashraful Haque passes away at 46


Talented actor Ashraful Haque, who starred in movies like 'Fukrey' and 'Traffic Signal' passed away in Mumbai at the age of 46. He was suffering from blood related disease. Graduated from National School of Drama, Ashraf was suffering from Myelodysplastic Syndrome for the last two years, informed by his friend Daulat Vaid. He breathed his last at Sunita Hospital in Andheri East in Mumbai on Tuesday.

"He died at 1:27 PM. He was kept on a ventilator for last three days. But he was declared dead today," Daulat told PTI. The Assam-born actor played a drunkard in ‘Fukrey’. He also played a villager in a quirky advertisement for mango drink.

He started his career with theatres and worked with renowned playwright like Ram Gopal Bajaj. Ashraful Haque, who worked in movies like‘Company’, ‘Jungle’, ‘Ravan’, ‘Deewar’, ‘Black Friday’ is survived by his wife and a son.

He was also seen in national award-winning film 'The Lost Behrupiya' (2013).
