Poster: Jagat Janani Anushka poses with Aamir's transistor in 'PK’

<PK>While the interesting poster based promotional campaign of the film ‘PK’ has been going on successfully, there were some questions as to when the female lead of the film, Anushka Sharma will be seen on posters as so far only Aamir Khan and Sanjay Dutt has been seen in the posters.

But now the wait is finally over and Anushka has made her appearance in ‘PK’ poster. Few days before the release of the fourth motion poster, Anushka had posted a video message on Twitter and had said that she too will be wearing the transistor made famous by Aamir Khan in the controversial first poster.

This made fans wait in anticipation to see whether Anushka does something as bold as Aamir in the first poster. Well, Anushka is fully clothed in the fourth motion poster but uses the transistor quite cleverly. She wears the same oversized police uniform worn by Aamir in one of the earlier posters. The transistor is hanging by her side. She is playing a character named ‘Jagat Janani’. In a Bhojpuri accent, she says in the poster, "Confuje ho gaye? Main PK nahin hun. Mera naam hai Jagat Janini. Haan Jagat Janini."

Hours before release of poster, Aamir had tweeted , “Babaaaal machney wala hai!!! Jaggu bhi humre jaise tiranjister pahan kar poster ma? Babaaaaal machney wala hai !!!”  After the release, Aamir followed it up with an introductory tweet, "Ei dekha..... humaar Jaggu.... tiranjister ke saath...".  The motion poster also contains various shots of Aamir and Anushka together wearing different costumes and they both look very cute together.

Anushka has revealed that it took some time before stylists zeroed in on her look in the film. Originally the film makers wanted to give Anushka a bob cut but she could not do it because of her other film commitments. She says, “We had to settle down with a wig then.” While she has refused to reveal anything about her character, Anushka claimed that ‘PK’ will be a turning point in Indian films. The talented actress who made a dream debut opposite SRK in ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’, now has the opportunity to work with another superstar of the industry, Aamir Khan.

Although she has several projects in hand, Anushka is taking ‘PK’ very seriously. Now the wait begins for another key actor from the film Sushant Singh Rajput to make his appearance on the posters. ‘PK’ will release on 19th December.
