Now, Kareena is taking two and half a crore of rupees to sign a film. Despite this all the producers are ready to take her in their films. Kareena's films might have not done so well but she has improved her acting a lot in the recent past. When she signed the role of a prostitute in 'Chameli' most of the industry people expressed doubts about her ability to perform this role. But after watching her in the film they turned her admirers.

Then she decided to perform only meaningful roles. Shahid Kapoor and Kareena starrer 'Fida' was not successful at the box office. However, she deals with it lightly and says, "I was the only heroine in this film and I was expecting that the audience would enjoy it. The role was quite different from my other films. If the audience did not like it then I am not worried about it." Also Kareena's recent release on Diwali and Eid festivals 'Aitraaz' has done an average business. In this film she has performed a strong role of a lawyer. She will soon appear in Dharmesh Darshan's 'Bewafa', Priyadarshan's 'Hulchul' and Satish Kaushik's 'Milenge Milenge'. The industry is keeping a watch on her performance in these films.
