First picture of the royal baby: Kate Middleton leaves hospital with baby


The first picture of the royal baby is doing all round the net. At 11:01 a.m. GMT (6:01 a.m. ET), Kate Middleton gave birth to their third child. In the evening, the Royal Highness left the St Mary’s hospital with her baby boy. She was accompanied by Prince William . The baby weighs 3.8 kg. Dressed in red, the new mom smiled and waved to the media and public. The proud parents are beaming in joy.  

In the morning, Kate had labour pain and she was rushed to St Mary’s hospital. Prince William was there by her side. Later, after the baby’s birth, Prince brought his two children George 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2 to meet their little brother.

In the early stage of pregnancy, Kate suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum, or severe levels of nausea and vomiting.

“Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well,” Kensington Palace released statement after the baby’s arrival. “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge will be leaving St. Mary’s Hospital this evening.”

Kensington Palace says “the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news.”
