First Picture: Justin Bieber arrives in Mumbai post mid-night


Finally, the wait is over and Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber arrived in India post mid-night. Dressed in pink pullover and black bermudas shorts, he landed in India with his team around 1.30 am. The sensational pop singer was received by Salman Khan's bodyguard Shera in the airport.

Justin looked bit weary and he is scheduled to perform today later in the evening at the DY Patil Stadium. A huge stage has been constructed. He will be staying at the posh South Mumbai hotel - St Regis. Titled the ‘Purpose World Tour’, 50,000 spectators are expected to witness Justin Bieber’s performance in Mumbai. 500 police personnel have been deployed at the concert venue, confirmed by Navi Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrale and 25 officers was deployed to ensure proper security at the stadium. In addition a private international security firms have been given the charge of security. To monitor the event, the security firms will be using drones connected to CCTV.

The pop star is expected to attend black-tie boxing event which will also be attended by Bollywood actors including Arjun Rampal, Tiger Shroff, Malaika Arora and Sunny Leone. A grand Bollywood party for Justin will be hosted.

Bieber will get a royal treatment during his India stay. He will be served with cuisines representing 29 states.

After the show, Bieber will attend a private yacht party with live karaoke singing.

Sarod maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan will be gifting an autographed sarod to the Grammy award winner. Ace designer Rohit Bal has also created a biker jacket in cotton velvet for the singer, while courtier Anamika Khanna will be creating a wardrobe for Bieber’s mother.

Actor Ranbir Kapoor's jewellery designer sister Ridhimma Kapoor Sahni will be gifting a rare wreath-shaped necklace, studded with rubies and marquise diamonds, and coated in platinum and 18k gold, to the singer’s mother.

The singer-songwriter is expected to perform in his hit numbers “Where are you now”, “Boyfriend”, “Love yourself”, “Company”, “As long as you love me”, “What do you mean?”, “Baby” and “Purpose”.

His visit to India also includes his trips to Jaipur and Taj Mahal in Agra on Friday. The Asian leg of his world tour also includes Dubai and Tel Aviv.
