First Look: Sonakshi Sinha as a boxer in 'Holiday'

Sonakshi Sinha, known as the most voluptuous woman in Bollywood with her traditional roles so far plans to change her image and go sporty in her next film, where she is seen as a boxer.

Wearing her hair high in a pony-tail and in a boxing outfit, the artiste was seen shooting for her next movie, ‘Holiday — A Soldier Is Never Off-Duty’, in a boxing ring.

Sources say producer Vipul Shah recently said they would be talking about Sonakshi’s preparations for her character only during the promotion of the film — and not before that!

Sonakshi, who was seen challenging goons in ‘R...Rajkumar’, acts a college girl in ‘Holiday — A Soldier Is Never Off-Duty’. She will be seen hitting the bad boys once more and, in one of the stints, she puts on her boxing gloves and enters the ring to showcase her prowess. This gives her a completely new appearance.

The film, ‘Holiday — A Soldier Is Never Off-Duty’, is directed by AR Murugadoss. It is the official remake of the South Indian blockbuster, ‘Thuppaki’, and stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role, with Govinda in a supporting role.

The original movie, ‘Thuppaki’, saw Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in lead roles. In the film, Akshay Kumar is back entertaining his audience with a new look, too. The action reminds one of the ‘Special 26’ avataar. The trailer of the film has some lines of comic and flirting, as well. The trailer of the film seems to be promising. Besides, it is also quite impressive.

The movie is scheduled to hit the cinemas on June 6 this year.
