First look ‘Parmanu - The Story of Pokhran’: John Abraham’s “biggest test ever”

Actor John Abraham, who is currently shooting for his next film ‘Parmanu - The Story of Pokhran’ in Rajasthan, shared the first look of the movie on Thursday. The ‘Rocky Handsome’ actor has termed it his ‘biggest test ever’.

The film is based on the series of nuclear tests carried out at the Indian Army's Pokhran Test Range in Rajasthan. The first look poster features a map of Rajasthan with a red dot pointing out the nuclear test site. It also features an outline of John’s face, left profile, over the map.

“So happy to bring you the first look of my biggest test ever,” the 44-year-old actor tweeted while sharing the poster.

India conducted its first nuclear test in 1974 under the assigned code name of Pokhran I. Pokhran II was India's second successful nuclear test when a series of five nuclear bomb test explosions was conducted.

Besides John, ‘Parmanu - The Story of Pokhran’ also stars Diana Penty and Boman Irani in key roles. Diana also shared the first look poster writing, “Excited to bring you this one.”

The film went on floors on May 31 and Johan had updated about it with a picture of the clapper board and tweeted, “Day 1.. Parmanu... The Story of Pokhran. Our biggest test ever."

The movie is being directed by Abhishek Sharma. Speaking about it, he was earlier quoted, “his story is one of the resilience and gumption that was shown by our national agencies to achieve one of the most critical achievements of the 20th century for our country."

‘Parmanu - The Story of Pokhran’ is being readied for a release on December 8.
