First Look of Diljit Dosanjh, Taapsee Pannu’s ‘Soorma’ is captivating

The first look of the much awaited film, ‘Soorma’ inspired from a real life personality, renowned hockey player Sandeep Singh is out and the poster looks quite enchanting. The poster shows Diljit Dosanjh holding a hockey stick with fire on his face. Below his hockey stick is seen Dosanjh seating in a wheel chair. The film stars Taapsee Pannu in the female lead.

‘Soorma’ helmed by Shaad Ali stars Angad Bedi alongside Diljit and Taapsee.  The story is tribute to hockey legend Sandeep Singh.

In 2006, Singh captain of Indian hockey team suffered a serious injury after being shot in a train,. He was about to leave for the World Cup in Germany two days later but he was almost paralyzed and stuck to the wheel chair for two years. But he did not lose heart and recovered bravely and again established himself as a sporting legend.

Produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions, Chitrangda Singh and Deepak Singh, ‘Soorma’ is set to hit theatres on June 29, 2018.
