Farhan Akhtar, Aditi's intimate scene in ‘Wazir’ deleted

Farhan Akhtar and Aditi Rao Hydari’s intimate scene in Bejoy Nambiar’s ‘Wazir’ was deleted before the film reached the censor board table.

"As a part of the film, the duo shot some intimate love making scenes. Whoever had seen the outcome of it, felt that they were extremely sensuous and passionate. The reason for these cuts was because of the expected censor board issues," a source said.

To avoid any conflicts with the censor board, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra chopped off the intimate scene before the film went to the censor board for certification.

Off late, the Censor Board has been very strict in functioning. A small timing kiss or intimate scene was asked to be deleted by them. Recently, they faced the irk of the film industry for cutting short kissing scenes between actor Daniel Craig and his leading ladies in the 24th James Bond film SPECTRE.

However, to avoid any issues, the scenes were cut from ‘Wazir’ by the filmmakers before the final screening for the censor board.

‘Wazir’, directed by Bejoy Nambian features Amitabh Bachchan and Neil Nitin Mukesh, apart from Farhan and Aditi.
