Ayushmann Khuranna rubbishes death rumor

The fans of Ayushman Khurana breathed a collective sigh of relief when the actor tweeted that he is not dead. “I have been hearing some bizarre rumors about my demise. RIP rumor mongers. Thanks!” wrote the star.

A surprisingly detailed news of accidental death of the actor surfaced a few days ago on the internet. Global Associated News reported “Actor Ayushmann Khurana is reported to have died shortly after a snowboard accident earlier today – April 17, 2013.” It was said that this latest sensation of Bollywood and the star of the successfully running Nautanki Saala was spending an idyllic vacation with friends and family in Zermatt, Switzerland. This is a famous ski resort. Khurana was snowboarding but lost control at one point of time and crashed at high speed into a tree. He was airlifted by ski patrol teams to a nearby local hospital but he could not be saved despite the best efforts of the doctors. The actor was reported to have been wearing his helmet at the time of the crash, but he died almost instantly on impact. Alcohol and drugs were not reported in connection with the accident.

The graphic details and the authoritative tone left no doubts in the minds of the people that the report is completely true. While the internet became rife with rumors, dejected fans expressed their condolences on tweeter. Some of the entries read as follows:

“News coming in that young actor Ayushman Khuranadied in an accident while skiing in the swiss? Hope it is a rumour! Sigh!"

" Is it true? Ayushman Khurana dead?"

" Wtff..ayushmann khurana ..is dead........in accident"

"RIP#Ayushmann Khurana"

Surely, none of these fans cared to read till the end. A statement at the bottom of the site clearly stated, "FAKE... THIS STORY IS 100% FAKE! This is an entertainment website, and this is a totally fake article based on zero truth and is a complete work of fiction for entertainment purposes!"

Global Associated News is a website for fakeawish.com where when you become a member, you can create hoax death headlines for any celebrity you choose. Ayushman should definitely feel honored to be in such exalted company that includes Tom Hanks, Morgan Freeman and even Amitabh Bachchan.

So, Khurana is just the victim of a death hoax and he is hale and hearty in Mumbai as his sources confirmed.
