The organisers will pay Pathak total amount of Rs 2.08 crore including tax. She will take home Rs 1.75 crore sum, which means she will be paid Rs 19.44 lakh each night.

When contacted, a representative from Ruparel Realty said, "We will be holding a press conference with all details soon."

Member of Parliament, Gopal Shetty, who plays an important role in organising the event and roping in singer Falguni for the festive season said, "Dandiya will take place in Borivli, I am not involved in the organisation but being a cultural event I help them in ways possible." He claimed that he has no information on the amount being paid to the singer. Pathak didn't respond despite repeated calls.
