Ex-flame Aishwarya, Vivek cross paths yet again
When ex-couple cross paths, it makes headlines. A well publicized break-up always remains in the mind of the people for a long time. A couple those who separated feel awkward to see eye to eye but circumstances bring them together under the same roof time and again.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vivek Oberoi are once couple but they broke-up after few years of dating. Now both are happily married. Aishwarya married to Abhishek and blessed with a baby and Vivek too got married to Priyanka Alva and expecting their first baby next month. But mutual friend’s wedding brought the two ex loved couple under the same roof yet again.
Aishwarya and Vivek were both accompanied by their spouses, actor Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Oberoi at director Shaad Ali’s wedding ceremony. Online is buzz with the news of Aishwarya and Vivek present at the same time at the same venue. At the wedding, Ash chose to wear a red embroided border salwar kameez while Abhishek wore a bandgala sherwani.

Amitabh Bachchan wrote, ‘The ‘barat’ was Shaad Ali’s, as he gets married to Aarti .. so the entire family joined in for this traditional bearing .. ah ..fun... Weddings are such a special moment ..meeting long lost friends, happy and dressed up in traditional wear. talking of old times ..!’
Ranveer Singh, filmmakers Zoya Akhtar and Rohan Sippy, actor Shabana Azmi with husband, lyricist Javed Akhtar and actor Kirron Kher were present at the wedding.
Shaad Ali got married to stylist Aarti Patkar, five years after his divorce from ex-wife Shahzneen Hussian. Shaad Ali, son of filmmaker and designer Muzaffar Ali directed Vivek and Rani in blockbuster ‘Saathiya’ while he directed Abhishek Bachchan in ‘Bunty and Babli’ and his last film was ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’. He assisted Mani Ratnam in ‘Raavan’.
After a long gap, he is back to direct his own script. The movie titled, ‘Kill Dil’ and has cast Parineeti Chopra opposite Ranveer Singh. The film will be produced by Yash Raj Films.
