Estranged Dimple moves with Rajesh Khanna

Yesteryear superstar Rajesh Khanna who ruled the silver screen in late 70’s has been discharged from Mumbai Lilavati hospital. He was admitted to the hospital two weeks ago. Rajesh Khanna who was living alone at his Aashirwad Bungalow will have now the company of his estranged wife Dimple Kapadia. Though not legally divorced, Dimple separated from Rajesh Khanna owing to his bad habits way back in 1988.

Though separated Dimple stood by ail Khanna in his bad days. When he was admitted to hospital few months back, she was constantly by his side taking full care of the superstar. She even fought with the hospital staff for not taking proper care of her estranged husband.

In his second visit to the hospital, Dimple was by his side and constantly took care of him. Doctors have advised the actor a caring hand who can be around him 24 hours. At the call of the situation, Dimple has decided to move to Aashiwad bungalow.

A source said, "Kakaji's health has declined drastically because of his negligence towards his food and diet. He didn't exercise at all. He was a sitting duck for ill health. After this scare, doctors have advised that he change his lifestyle. They have also asked his family to be around him."

Updating his health, Dimple said, "Khanna is back home. He was discharged yesterday (Saturday). He is absolutely fine now".

Dimple is packing her bag and baggage to shift to Aashirwad bungalow for taking care of Rajesh Khanna.

"The bond between Kakaji and Dimpleji is, to this day, very strong. She knows how to cope with a health crisis, having taken care of her sister Simple during her illness," said the source.

Bollywood's first superstar Rajesh Khanna who has been part of the film industry for four decades has given hit films like Aradhana, Safar, Kati Patang, Anand and many more. He was last seen in a Havels fan ad directed by R. Balki.

Mr Balki said, "Mr Khanna displayed great spirit when we shot the ad recently. Some people thought he was looking ill but that was because he had sprained his leg. He was on painkillers and therefore maybe a little woozy. Otherwise, he never allowed us to feel, even for a minute, that he was unwell. I want him for another ad as soon as he recovers."
