'Murder 4': Elli Avram and Patralekhaa cast as leading ladies

Producer of ‘Murder’ film franchise Mahesh Bhatt, who had earlier declared that the fourth film in the series will start rolling this year, has finalised the leading ladies to be cast in ‘Murder 4’.

Actors Elli Avram and Patralekhaa are said to have been confirmed for the thriller with a love triangle. However, the male cast has not been finalised yet.

Emraan Hashmi will not be there in ‘Murder 4’... He doesn’t need a franchise anymore,” Mahesh Bhatt was quoted as saying earlier. So it remains to be seen who will get to romance Elli and Patralekhaa.

Emraan Hashmi was the lead actor in the first two ‘Murder’ films, opposite Mallika Sherawat and Jacqueline Fernandes, respectively. ‘Murder 3’ featured Randeep Hooda along with Aditi Rao Hydari and Pakistani model-actress Sara Loren.

‘Murder 4’ will be directed by Vikram Bhatt, who has delivered horror films like ‘1920’, ‘Shaapit’, ‘Raaz’, ‘1920: Evil Returns’ and others.

The previous movies in the franchise were directed by Anurag Basu, Mohit Suri and Vishesh Bhatt respectively.

Swedish actress Elli, who rose to fame after her participation in ‘Bigg Boss’, appeared in a very forgettable Bollywood movie ‘Mickey Virus’ opposite actor and TV host Manish Paul. Patralekhaa, on the other hand acted in Hansal Mehta’s ‘City Lights’, a remake of British film ‘Metro Manila’. She was cast opposite her real-life boyfriend Rajkumar Rao.
