‘Drishyam’ mints in Rs 34 cr in four days, Ajay thrilled


Ajay Devgn is highly delighted as his latest release ‘Drishyam’ collected Rs 34.08 crore in its first four days. Despite receiving mixed reviews, ‘Drishyam’ has been able to win over the heart of the audience. The film has fared well at the box-office and going strong despite giants business of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Baahubali’.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the film's business.

Ajay tweeted that he is very satisfied with the film’s response:

Remake of a 2013 Malayalam film of the same name, ‘Drishyam’ stars Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Rajat Kapoor and Kamlesh Sawant apart from Ajay in the pivotal roles.

Directed by Nishikant Kamat, the film deals with the life of a cable operator in Goa who goes through hell in his life after the son of Inspector General Meera Deshmukh went missing.
