‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ actor Sooraj aka Anas Rashid gets engaged
Anas Rashid, who enact the role of Sooraj in the popular soap ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ got engaged to a Chandigarh girl, Heena, in private ceremony last evening.
Last month, Anas confirmed the news of his engagement.
24-year-old
Heena, who hails from Malerkotla in Punjab, has been living in Chandigarh for
the past 6 years.
The engagement
ceremony took place at his hometown, Malerkotla. On his D-day, Anas wore a
designer suit which he got from Mumbai while Heena looked lovely in an orange
outfit.
Talking
about his wedding plans, Anas said, “Yes, it’s true. I was clear that I wanted
to tie the knot with a girl of my family’s choice and it’s finally happening
with everyone’s blessings. We are 14 years apart (Anas is 38 years old) and, at
the moment, are getting to know each other. Heena is a simple girl.”
