‘Dilwale’ to feature “amazing action” in Cape Town

Just one piece of news from ‘Dilwale’ is all it takes to set Kajol-Shah Rukh fans’ heart throbbing. Though Shah Rukh and Rohit Shetty keep giving ‘Dilwale’ updates, the public can’t stop wanting more! After all, it the film marks the return of Kajol-Shah Rukh hit jodi after all these years. Now a source has revealed the exciting plans of the cast and crew. They would be out of India for the shooting. A source close to the director says, “Rohit and the Dilwale team will be camping in Cape Town for their next schedule.”

The director too has confirmed that they would be out shooting in Cape Town. Moreover, Rohit has revealed that the film would feature dynamic action, like all other Rohit Shetty creations. The director says, “There is a lot of action in this film and there are four big action sequences overseas. I want to do it in Cape Town because I am familiar with the team there due to the Khatron Ke Khiladi shoots. At present, everything is in the planning stage but we are likely to shoot in Cape Town.”

In an interview, Shah Rukh too promised that the film will feature some great action sequences. The actor told the media, “It’s a Rohit Shetty film - quite sweet and very, very funny like all his films are". When asked if there would be action, he said- “Oh, there are amazing action sequences which I can’t even visualise. It’s beyond me how he does that. He is one of the finest filmmakers I have worked with - extremely hard-working and every clear about what he wants for his films” Though the team is excited about the action that is to come, they wouldn’t be taking off immediately as Rohit said “We are planning to shoot in Cape Town, Abu Dhabi and Mauritius, but only after I complete the Goa schedule. My whole team and my unit are very happy that we will be going abroad for a long schedule, not a small one. For me, it is a requirement of the script.”

It was earlier heard that the film would be the sequel of ‘Chennai Express’. But “it is an original script” as Shah Rukh says. He further shares, “It will have the same team of writers and they had the story ready during CE itself. They told me that they had two ideas ready - Chennai Express 2 and another story. This film with Rohit will be that ‘another story’”
