Deepika rubbishes reports of fall out with Shah Rukh Khan

Actress Deepika Padukone has rubbished the recent reports of her alleged fall-out with Shah Rukh Khan, saying that nothing can ever change her equation with the superstar opposite whom she made her debut in ‘Om Shanti Om’.

Reportedly, the Bollywood ‘Baadshah’ was miffed with Deepika’s attitude when she recently posted the first look of her upcoming film ‘Bajirao Mastani’ on Instagram with the caption ‘challengeaccepted’. ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and Shah Rukh and Kajol starrer film ‘Dilwale’ are set to clash at the box office this December and both the films are eagerly awaited by fans.

The ‘Piku’ actress later edited the caption and removed ‘#challengeaccepted’, which was supposedly the bone of contention.

Deepika said, “I find it really amazing that some picture of my film with a certain hashtag… it’s amazing that some connection is found to some completely different film and it is blown out of proportion. I don’t think any of these articles will ever come in my way on my equation with Shah Rukh.”

Deepika and Shah Rukh also starred opposite each other in Rohit Shetty’s blockbuster ‘Chennai Express’ and Farah Khan's 'Happy New Year'.

“What he and I share is known to us and it is very special. Ironically, when you all were reading this article, he was messaging and congratulating me about my foundation. He was one of the first people I spoke to while I was thinking about it. He has always been encouraging and supportive,” the 29-year-old actress further said.

Regarding the box office clash of their respective films – Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’, Deepika observed, “I am just an actor. I am neither the producer nor director to say anything. I have no business sense and I have no idea whether it is good or bad for the film.”
