Deepika, Priyanka paid Rs 1.3 crore for 4 minute IIFA act


Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra is cashing on big bucks after their Hollywood stint. Their price is touching sky high especially after they made their debut down West. Now they charged a whopping amount of 1.3 crore for just a four minutes act at the IIFA. Both Priyanka and Deepika are now highest paid actors in Bollywood. Not only for shows but they charged a whopping price for brands.

Deepika has supposedly demanded R33 lakh per minute and Priyanka too placed the same demand. A source says, “The organisers were in talks with many celebrities to perform on stage. They even conducted a research to find out which Bollywood celebrities are popular in Madrid and results showed Deepika and Priyanka top the actresses’ list and therefore, were ready to shell out a hefty amount to have them in their performance line-up. Normally, Bollywood girls are paid Rs 70-80 lakh for a stage act depending on their popularity and market value.”

Celebrities flying to Madrid for IIFA 2016. Deepika Padukone already reached Madrid and Priyanka is expected to fly on the eve of the function.

Another source says, “The brand value of the two girls has shot up after they forayed into H’wood and if they are asking for that much money for a performance, it is absolutely justified. The organisers have agreed to their demand too.”

Priyanka Chopra starred in American TV show Quantico in a leading role and she also warpped the shooting of Hollywood debut, ‘Baywatch’ and Deepika Padukone too ventured into Hollywood with ‘XXX: The Return of Xander Cage’ opposite Vin Diesel.

Other celebrities who will perform at the award nights include Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha and Shilpa Shetty.

Sources said that Bollywood heroes are paid much more than actresses.

“Salman’s fee is somewhere around R5 crore while Hrithik charges Rs 3.5-4 crore for a performance,” adds an industry insider.
