Deepika Padukone to celebrate Diwali with family in Bengaluru

Deepika Padukone,who is away from her family for so long has planned to ring in Diwali with family in Bengaluru. Deepika has kept her work aside and decided to fly to her home town to celebrate Diwali with  her mother Ujwala, father Prakash and sister Anisha.

Due to her hectic shooting schedule for Hollywood debut ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ in Canada, Deepika could hardly got time to spend with her family for quite a long time but now its time for some family time. The shoot is over and before she kick-starts Sanjay Leela Bhansali's  'Padmavati', the diva headed home for some family time. 

“Next week onward, Deepika will begin shooting for Padmavati. It is going to be hectic, and the weekend is the only time that she will get to spend with her family. Since Diwali falls during the weekend (Sunday, October 30), the actor will fly to Bangalore to celebrate the festival with them,” says a source.

 Deepika will be flying for Bangalore on October 28.

When contacted, Deepika says, “Diwali is the festival of lights, joy and happiness. It has always been a very special festival for all of us. So, I decided to spend quality time with my family before I immerse myself in Padmavati.”

Diwali has been very special for Deepika and every year she spends the festival of light with her family in Bengaluru.
