Deepika Padukone sheds tears for Ranbir Kapoor a lot

Deepika Padukone has evolved as a very mature and understanding person today post her break-up with Ranbir Kapoor and she thanked the actor for that. She said she is completely ruled by her heart and she feels complete in a relationship. The long legged actress divulged that she cried a lot post break-up with Ranbir Kapoor and now she would not make any hurry to choose her partner.

"I am completely ruled by my heart, not just relationship wise but choosing films comes straight form my heart. For me being in a relationship is I think very important", Deepika spoke at India Today conclave event.

Padukone had a highly publicised relation with Ranbir Kapoor but the two later parted ways only to reunite for their film 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'.
She was also asked about her ex-flame Ranbir Kapoor and present boyfriend Ranveer Singh. The actress did not shy away from answering the questions.

“It made me realise I should not be so attached to one thing or a person - after the break-up the fact that I had to pick myself up. I cried a lot after my break-up. But I have become a better person and I thank him for that," said Deepika.

Deepika, who is ruling Bollywood at this present stage said that she knows how people are curious to know about at this stage she can’t blindly go for someone.

For the ‘Ram Leela’ actress being in a relationship is very important for her.

"But it has to be a beautiful relationship. A relationship that encourages you and makes you a better person. If it pulls you down or you start becoming someone that you are not it not a place to be in. And I have been in both," Padukone said today on the sidelines of India Today Conclave 2014.

When asked to comment on her relationship with her rumoured beau and actor, Ranveer Singh, Padukone said, "I think I am in a stage where I don't want to rush into something. For a young girl like me it's very important to get to know someone, may be it also comes from the fact that I dint want to go through heart ache again and you want to be sure about the person that you eventually land up with."

Deepika ruled the box-office with back-to-back hits like 'Cocktail', 'Race 2', 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani', 'Chennai Express' and 'Ram-Leela'.

She does not follow any formula but she follows her heart while choosing a script.

"I don't think success for me has a particular formula. I think success comes from following your heart, believing in yourself and being the person you want to be V/s being someone that you are expected to be, and I don't think you are living an honest life if you are doing that," she added.
