She will also have to learn horse riding and perfect the art of sword fighting to portray the role of a brilliant warrior princess.

This gorgeous actress revealed “as I have never done anything like this before, it will most certainly be challenging. Plus, I will have to train for 12- 15 hours a day so as to make it look effortless and my training sessions will go on along with the shoot of the movie”. She further added “the training will be extensive and similar to what Ranveer had to undergo. The role of Mastani requires oodles of preparation and hard work”. Deepika seems apprehensive yet excited about her training sessions that will take place alongside the shooting of the film.

The film is set in the 18th century and narrates the tale of love between Bajirao and Mastani. Shooting sequences are currently going on and Deepika has her plate full. Since, she has to manage the shoot and train side by side. ‘Bajirao Mastani’ will be Deepika and Ranveer’s second film together. The two had earlier set the screen ablaze with their performances and onscreen chemistry in ‘Ram Leela’.

Deepika is a brilliant actress who has a zeal for portraying her roles perfectly. In 2013 this sincere starlet learnt Tamil for her movie ‘Chennai Express’. A year later, she learnt Marathi for her role opposite Shahrukh Khan in the movie ‘Happy New Year’.
