The reigning actress of Bollywood recently said that success does not matter to her and familial bonds have always been very important to her.

"Nothing is more important than the relevance of family in our lives. That feeling of completeness,” the leggy actress said in an interview. She also mentioned that when she finds the right man and get married for love, she will happily quit her film career.

This may not go do down well with her ardent fans who want to see more of her in the industry.

Her latest film ‘Piku’, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan was a big success. Her role in Soojit Sircar’s film was widely praised. The film was sort of off-beat and she went de-glamorised for the role.

Deepika, daughter of shuttler Prakash Padukone, made her Bollywood debuted in Fara Khan’s ‘Om Shanti Om’ in 2007. She received the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for the film.

In the past few years, she has dished out several hits like ‘Love Aaj Kal’, ‘Cocktail’ 'Chennai Express', 'Ram-Leela', Ye Jawani Hai Deewani' and others. However, her performances in ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ and comedy film ‘Housefull’ met with negative reviews.

In her upcoming film 'Bajirao Mastani', she will star opposite her beau Ranveer Singh. The film also stars Priyanka Chopra. She is also doing another film by Imtiaz Ali titled ‘Tamasha’, in which she stars opposite her ex-flame Ranbir Kapoor.

A former Kingfisher calendar model, Deepika was also dating Siddharth Mallya, son of liquor baron Vijay Mallya, after her break-up with Ranbir.
