Deepika Padukone charges Rs 11-12 crore for ‘Padmavati’

After back to back success and Hollywood debut, the reigning queen of Bollywood Deepika Padukone has hiked her fees. She is charging higher fees for ‘Padmavati’. According to an insider, earlier the ‘Piku’ actress charged Rs 8-9 crore for her movies and now after the success of her movies, she has increased her fees to 11-12 crore.

Deepika Padukone starred in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ but now Bhansali has signed her for high amount.

By hiking fees, Deepika Padukone has apparently dethroned Kangana Ranaut who is said to be charging around 11 crore per film. After the success of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, Kangana’s sister Rangoli revealed that she charged Rs. 11 crore for the movies she signed last year.

Currently, Deepika is busy with her Hollywood movie, which is slated to release in January 2017. On the other hand, she is also being considered for Salman’s next movie ‘Tubelight’ which is being directed by Kabir Khan.
