Chiranjeevi to undergo shoulder surgery again

Megastar Chiranjeevi is expected to undergo a surgery on his left shoulder next month. The 60-year-old actor had got operated his right shoulder earlier last month. He has been struggling with shoulder-related problems for nearly two years.

The surgery is expected to take place soon after his younger daughter Srija gets married next week. “Post the wedding, he is expected to get operated in Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital.” IANS report quoted a source as saying.

“When he got his right shoulder operated, he wanted to get his other shoulder fixed too. However, he was advised against it,” the source added. The actor-politician will be required to take rest for at least two weeks following the operation.

Meanwhile Chiranjeevi is currently working on his prestigious 150th film which is the remake of Tamil movie ‘Kaththi’. The project being directed by V. V.Vinayak is nearing completion. However, the shooting for the movie has been postponed by months due to the actor’s ailment. In all likelihood, the regular shooting of the project will commence only by the third quarter of 2016, according to reports.
