Check out: SS Rajamouli unveils 'Baahubali 2' Logo

The official logo of ‘Baahubali 2’ was unveiled by the S.S Rajamouli's. While unveiling the logo, SS Rajamouli tweeted about the film’s first look.

The team also unveiled the logo of the film highlighting the big question ‘Why Katappa killed Baahubali’ with the hashtag #WKKB.

"We will wrap up the shoot by December. Some scenes and two songs are pending as of now. The film will release on April 28, 2017," Rajamouli told reporters.

During a press-meet in Hyderabad recently, Rajamouli revealed that ‘Baahubali’ is not just about the movie, but has much more to it.

“The movie is just a branch of a huge tree. There will be animated series, comic books, games and Baahubali virtual reality experience. You can get 360 degree photos and making videos from the shoot directly on your phone too,” the director said.

The first in the timeline of the events is the teaser of the ‘Baahubali’ animated series which will be released on October 1 on Amazon Prime Video. Interestingly, the animation series will have only the base story by Rajamouli.  The rest of it will be helmed in 2D by Graphic India. 

“The animated series or the comics will have a separate stories altogether and they will have no relation to stories of part one or two of the ‘Baahubali’, said the director.

Rajamouli said that the movie will incorporate VR effects (virtual reality) of the highest quality, and a making video made on VR technology will be out on October 23 (Prabhas' birthday). The visual effects alone apparently cost Rs 25 crore.

“We are also going to setup VR booths in around 200 theatres on a budget of Rs 25 crore. The VR experience will be launched on October 23 and the booths will be made available for public a month before the release date,” Rajamouli added.

Rajamouli also made a big revelation, that a third part in the ‘Baahubali’ franchise is also on cards.
