Salman Khan and Preity Zinta are the best of buddies and so when Preity asked Salman to do a cameo for her debut venture, he could not say no to her. Both have worked together in the past and they share a great professional and personal equation. Preity featured for a cameo in Salman Khan starrer ‘Main Aur Mrs Khanna’ in 2009 and when time came to return the friendly gesture Salman Khan stand up to his word.

Recently, he shot with Preity for a Punjabi track for her debut venture ‘Ishq In Paris’.  The song titled ‘Kudiya Ki Kudti’ and it shows Salman and Preity dancing in a wedding ceremony. According to a source, “Salman was more than happy to be a part of Preity’s film and gave his dates right away to the film.”

An excited Preity who has been getting a lot of positive feedback for the first look of the film was all praises for Salman. “I love Salman for being part of my first film as a producer. First experiences are the most memorable and special and he has rocked the movie for me by looking so handsome and superhot! Thank you and love you Salman,” said Preity.

Music honcho Bhushan Kumar adds, “Kudiye... is an upbeat fun track and no one could have done it better than Salman. He is a complete rockstar in the number.”

Talking about Preity and Salman’s warm relationship, an insider said, "Salman is very fond of her. In fact the two have always been rather supportive of each other. So, when the song was offered to Salman he just agreed right away,” says the insider.

Salman’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ promotions delayed the shoot but Sallu kept his promise and shot the song at last.

“When Sajid-Wajid composed the song, Preity first thought of Salman. He agreed to take time out for it. But later, when the time to shoot the song arrived, Salman got caught up with the promotions for his last release, Ek Tha Tiger (ETT). As a result, everyone was unsure whether he would be able to do it,” says a source. “But he had told Preity that come what may, he would be present for the shoot.” And so he was.
