Celina stole my bikini, says co-star

Celina JaitelyIt's not just the men who are hot and bothered about Celina Jaitley's silver swimsuit from 'Janasheen'. Co-star Pinky Harwani claims the itsy-bitsy bathing suit actually belongs to her...
Pinky Harwani is fuming mad at Celina.

According to Denmark-based Harwani, who holds a master's degree in finance management and had a job in a foreign bank, an offer to star in the Feroz Khan film brought her to India. Only later did she realise that she would be playing second fiddle to Jaitely.

"I didn't mind doing second lead in 'Janasheen' as long as my role was glamorous. I was in fact promised a song and dance sequence that had plenty of scope for exposure. After listening to the track, I asked my own designer to suggest the kind of clothes that would help me make an impact. We went through a lot of designs and finally settled upon a matching set of bikini top and bottom that were exclusively designed for me. I found the outfit comfortable and at the same time extremely appealing and sensuous," recalls Harwani whose father, incidentally, was the co-producer of a Dev Anand movie, 'Pyar Ka Tarana', shot almost entirely in Denmark.

Tinseltown's newest bombshell says her picture-prefect debut started to go wrong after she befriended Jaitley on the sets of 'Janasheen'. "We got close and I shared my ideas with her in a spirit of camaraderie. I told her I wanted to make a sizzling appearance in the item number since it would help me get other Bollywood offers. Imagine my shock and surprise when I saw Celina in an identical bikini in the film. To add insult to injury, she was rude and quite offensive after I decided to confront her on the issue. But her behaviour is understandable - she has nothing to say in her defence."

Without getting into details, Harwani admits this isn't the first time bad luck has struck her since coming to Mumbai. She had felt betrayed on an earlier occasion too.

Jaitley is however quick to respond to the conspiracy theory. Her bare-dare rival is lying through her teeth, fumes the former Miss India.

"Pinky was unable to impress anyone with her acting or dance in 'Janasheen' and is making baseless allegations against me to get publicity. Whatever I wore in the film was with the express consent of the director Feroz Khan and it's therefore ridiculous to suggest that I lifted the concept from her," says Jaitley.
