Celebs landed in legal trouble

Here are some celebrities who continue to be haunted by legal troubles:

1.Salman Khan: He is the celebrity entangled in most controversies. 2002 saw him being arrested for hit-and-run case when three were injured and one was killed due to his negligent driving. He was later accused of hunting the Chinkara and was imprisoned. The hit-and-run case further got complicated when the RTO officer recently claimed that Salman didn’t have a driving license when he committed the crime. Another argument that still continues is on Salman’s blood sample as the cop, who took the actor’s blood sample, has recently made statements contradictory to what he had earlier said.

2.Sanjay Dutt: He is yet another child of controversies. In 1993, the actor’s problems cropped up when he was accused of involvement in the Bombay blasts. It was alleged that he had delivered weapons and was involved with Abu Salem and Riyaz Siddique. These weapons played a chief role in the blasts. Since then, he has been arrested, freed and re-arrested many times. He is currently in Yerwada prison.

3.Mahima Chaudhry: The ‘Pardes’ actress was recently embroiled in a case of black money. An investigation team had been appointed by Supreme Court to recover black money. Mahima had an account under her real name Ritu Choudhary in Swiss Bank. But the actress denied having any such account. The reports stated that her account details mentioned her as model and actress. Following this, Twitter was flooded with Mahima Swiss account jokes.

4.The ‘AIB’ team: Comedy show ‘AIB’ landed into trouble when the videos were released on Youtube. They featured actors Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh getting roasted and a group of comedians making outrageous remarks on celebrities. Other than stand up comedians Ashish Shakya, Rohan Joshi, G Khamba and Tanmay Bhatt, FIR was filed against host Karan Johar, actors Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Aditi Mittal, Rajeev Masand and others who were part of the show. Court in Mumbai filed FIR against the team for using foul language, with an activist deeming the show “commercial, vulgar, obscene and pornographic show”.

5.The ‘PK’ team: It was in trouble the minute Aamir Khan flaunted his nudity in the poster. But the real problem started when some scenes, said to hurt religious sentiments, were revealed. The filmmakers – including director Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir Khan found themselves in the midst of FIR in 153A, 295A of Penal Code. Devotees claimed that Lord Shiv had been insulted as he had been shown pulling a rickshaw carrying burqua clad ladies.
