Cannes 2017: Sonam Kapoor goes traditional, picks prismatic sari

The first appearance of Sonam Kapoor has got thumps up. The ‘Neerja’ actress ditches gown and chose to wear unicorn hued, stunning prismatic sari from the label NorBlack  NorWhite, by Canadian-born designers Mriga Kapadiya and Amrit Kumar teamed with white blouse.

She neatly tied her hair in a bum and completed her look with modern geometrical jewellery from Lynn Ban. She kept her make-up minimal but done some heavy work on eyes.

Her sister and stylist Rhea Kapoor shared her look on Instagram with the hashtag #sportyspice.

Sonam Kapoor posed for the shutterbugs standing by the French Riviera and she just shined.

Sonam will walk the red carpet in the French Riviera as the brand ambassador of L’Oreal Paris.

Just a week ahead, Sonam went down the memory lane and posted her first Cannes picture, “Since it’s a week to me walking down the red carpet again for Cannes for @lorealparisindia I’m going to post some of my favourite looks leading up to it! One of my favs in for the opening ceremony of cannes!”

Excited for the event, Sonam, in an earlier interview had said, “This year, since we are busy doing so many other things, I have not prepared much for Cannes. Usually, my sister Rhea styles me and she is busy making the film Veere Di Wedding. I was busy shooting for two films and promoting our fashion brand Rheson.”
