Sunny Leone says boys weren't interested in her in college

Bollywood actress Sunny Leone, who was recently in news following a controversial interview where she was asked about her past career choice as a porn star, said that in real life she is a shy person. The ‘Ek Paheli Leela’ actress also revealed that she was a 'geek' while growing up and boys weren't really attracted to her until she was 18 years old.

"I was a very academic student in college, but until college, I was an average student. But I knew business and I was fond of marketing, and all kind of geeky stuff. I was a nerd in my teenage years and didn't have a lot of friends."

“I also knew how to edit videos, do photoshop and lot of other things that a lot of 18 or 19-year olds don't do. No boy was interested in me until I was 18," Sunny was quoted in an agency report.

Sunny will be next seen in Milap Zaveri’s sex-comedy ‘Mastizaade’ starring Tusshar Kapoor and Vir Das. It is her first Bollywood film in the adult comedy genre. The former porn star revealed being uncomfortable with certain scenes and dialogues in the film and requested the makers to tone down the scenes.

"When I read the script, there were certain things which I told Milap that I cannot do because I was not comfortable with the dialogues and scenes. The best thing was Milap and my producer (Rangita Pritish Nandy) were accommodating and they made changes in the script and discussed options with me," Sunny said.

Sunny will be seen a double role as Lily and Laila who are opposite in character. The film which also stars Shaad Randhawa, Suresh Menon and Vivek Vaswani is slated to hit screens on January 29.
