Box-Office: Tiger Shroff, Hrithik Roshan’s ‘War’ inching towards 300 crore club


Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s ‘War’ is going strong at the box-office. It is unstoppable and collecting big bucks at the ticket counter. Within 13 days of its release, ‘War’ has collected Rs 264. 40 crore and it is fast inching towards 300 crore club.

Taran Adarsh tweeted about the film's figure, "War witnesses the normal weekday decline... Goes past Rs. 275 cr... Next target: Rs. 300 cr... War [Hindi; Week 2] Fri 7.10 cr, Sat 11.20 cr, Sun 13.20 cr, Mon 4.40 cr. Total: Rs. 264.40 cr. Including Tamil + Telugu: Rs. 276.40 cr. India biz."

On Monday night, Taran Adarsh shared the overseas performance of the film."War crosses $ 11 million in the international arena... Total after Weekend 2: $ 11.2 million [Rs. 79.80 cr]." The film is doing well in USA, UAE and UK.

Speaking about the film's thunderous performance on day 1, director Siddharth Anand said, "It is truly overwhelming and gratifying to get this kind of love from audiences for our hard work in making War a truly big screen spectacle. Having two of the biggest action superstars of Indian cinema, we had the immense responsibility to give audiences a never seen before visual experience and I feel hugely validated that people across the country have loved our action entertainer that has pushed the envelop of action genre in India."

An elated Sidharth told ANI at the success party of the film, “We are deeply thankful and humbled.
