Gangster Ravi Pujari threats to shoot down Boney Kapoor
Filmmaker and Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor received death threats for extortion recently. The call was made from an ISD number and it is highly speculated that the caller might be the underworld goon Ravi Pujari. Boney Kapoor lodged a complaint with the Oshiwara police station and and the investigation is on.
A year back, Boney Kapoor’s house was robbed where valuable worth Rs 6 crore were stolen. In this case, two persons were arrested by police.
And now the producer started getting death threats. However, police
felt that there is a connection between the robbery and the extortion
calls. They are doubting that those two
persons are related to underworld goon Ravi Pujari. Apparently, an unidentified person called up
Boney and threatened to shoot him down in his house. "You got my men
arrested and now you have to face the consequences," he was told.
Confirming the incident, senior inspector Nasir Pathan said: "The
investigation is on and the anti-extortion cell is also conducting a parallel
inquiry."
Meanwhile, the cops are on a vigilant and patrolling is carried out in the
area.
