Bollywood's date with Roger Federer

The stunning Grand Slam champion has a knack for filling the environment with vibrancy and excitement wherever he goes. This time, Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium got lucky when this utterly talented and celebrated 17-time winner arrived for International Premier Tennis League (IPTL). He set the crowd bustling when he joined big names like Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Amir Khan on the court for a thoroughly entertaining exhibition match. The audience had visited Indoor Gandhi Stadium to watch Roger Federer and Novok Djokovic’s match. It came as a pleasant surprise when they saw Bollywood stars having a great time with UAE Royals! The exhibition match took the crowd by surprise when the lovely actors collaborated with Federer to make the most out of the already fantastic event.

The icing on the cake was the doubles match, where Novak Djokovic and Sania Mirza played against the pair of Deepika Padukone and Federer. It was gratifying for Padukone’s fans to see the actress dressed in an all black sporty outfit that beautifully clung to her perfect figure, with her pretty hair set back in a classy high ponytail. The duo was simply delightful, with Federer’s gentlemanly attitude and Deepika’s graceful and jaunty movements. While Federer shared some tennis skills with her, the actress in return coached him on some sexy dance moves.

“It's (IPTL) crazy but it’s good fun. I definitely think there's a place for this…It's competitive, it's serious but it's still light-hearted”, said Federer after winning doubles and mixed doubles matches at IPTL. As for Mr. Perfectionist, he was seen having fun with the stellar personalities on court, while Djokovic’s coach Boris Becker sat back and enjoyed the match. Amir has always been supporting sports, especially at IPTL. He was further seen giving some game advice to Federer while enjoying the double’s game with him. Amir and Deepika seemed in quite a playful mood, while Riteish and Khiladi Kumar, on the other hand were not so lively and rather preferred to be just spectators.

To add to the fun, Federer welcomed Amir’s son Azad to the court. While daddy Khan carried his little boy cheerfully, the Grand Slam champ wore a handsome smile on seeing his “most adorable fan in India”, as he said later! Roger has evidently loved his visit to India- winning matches (as always), shaking legs with Bollywood stars and happily clicking selfies with them.
