Bollywood bids tearful adieu to Dara Singh

Iconic wrestler and veteran actor Dara Singh passed away in the morning around 7:30 am. He was 84. For quite sometime, he was battling for his life. Last night, he was discharged from at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital when doctors confirmed that he has very less chance of recovery. He will be cremated at 2pm.

His son Vindu Dara Singh texted after the departure of his father, "Angel now gone to shine like a star up above".

Bollywood celbs took to twitter to express their grief.

Shah Rukh Khan: Wrestlers r made of sweat,determination & a hard to find alloy called guts...most apt for Dara Singhji our very own Superman.Will miss u sir.

Amitabh Bachchan: Dara Singh ji passed away this morning. A great Indian and one of the finest humans..An entire era of his celebrated presence gone.

Abhishek Bachchan: Dada ji passes away. Had the honour of working with him in Shararat. The most gentle and kind man. Really looked up to him. Will miss him.
