‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ wins heart, earns 14.40 cr in two days


The Friday release ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ did a wonderful business at the box-office. Despite absence of A-lister, the film did a surprising business at the box-office. The opening day collection of ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ is far more impressive than Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s comeback film, ‘Jazbaa’ and Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Katti Batti’.

The opening day collection of PKP 2 even beat Ranbir Kapoor's ‘Bombay Velvet’ and Deepika Padukone'sPiku’. The film collected 6.80 cr on the opening day and mints in Rs 7.60 core on Saturday, totalling to Rs 14.40 cr in two days.

‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ starring Omkar Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha, Sonalli Sehgall and Ishita Sharma is a sequel to the film of the same name.

The story of ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ revolves around three guys who fall in love with girls who are too demanding.
 
In a recent interview, the male lead, Luv said, "In our films, love is always glorified but I wanted to do something different. And I wanted to do it in a humorous way. I wanted to show how the whole concept of a relationship can become troublesome when in love," Luv told Press Trust of India.
