Black buck poaching case: Sonali Bendre, Tabu, Saif Ali Khan reach Jodhpur

Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu, Salman Khan reached Jodhpur for the final verdict of 1998 black buck poaching case. A rural court in Jodhpur will pronounce the verdict against the actors tomorrow, 5th April. 

Salman Khan, who was shooting for ‘Race 3’ in Abu Dhabi reached India last night for the final verdict. Neelam Kothari also arrived with her husband Sameer Soni. All the stars were clicked when they landed at the airport. 

The incident dates long back when the stars went to Jodhpur to shoot for Sooraj Barjatya’s family drama, ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’. Salman Khan is the main accused and since 1998, the superstar is facing trial in poaching case of an endangered black buck in Jodhpur's Kankani village and possession of illegal arms.

The co-accused Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam, had accompanied the Bollywood star in the shooting of the film 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' on October 1, 1998. 

Apart from the stars, Dushyant Singh and Dinesh Ganware are the two more accused, claimed to have helped Salman in the hunting. Ganware has been on the run since the incident.

The postmortem and FSL reports confirmed that the mammals were killed by the expired firearms of Salman Khan.
