Bipasha gears up for sangeet tonight; wedding outfit revealed

After the pre-wedding revelries, Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover are all set to become man and wife in a matter of less than 48 hours. The ‘Alone’ co-stars will tie the celestial knot on Saturday, April 30, and the celebrations have already begun with the sangeet to be held tonight.

The ‘Jism’ star’s best friend and fitness expert Deanne Panday offered a glimpse of an ethnic outfit in red and white with hint of gold, on her Instagram page. “And it all begins #weddingcelebrationsbegin #BestFriendsWedding #Wedding #MyOutfit,” she wrote along with the picture.

It is not clear though, if the outfit is meant for the wedding, or other related functions like sangeet and mehendi ceremonies. From the look of it, the garment seems to be perfect for a Bengali bride. It was earlier revealed that Bipasha will get married in a traditional Bengali ceremony.

Deanne also shared another picture collage of the Pooja, including thalis, flowers and other things and wrote, “Blessings for the bride to be #celebrations #sohappy #wedding #BestFriendsWedding #Pooja #Bengali #traditional.”

The sangeet ceremony will take place on Thursday night while the mehendi will be held on April 29 at Villa 69, a lounge bar in Juhu. It will be an intimate affair with only immediate family and close friends being invited

The haldi ceremony, an integral part of traditional wedding, will be held in the morning of April 30, on the day of marriage itself. The wedding will also be a private affair and will be held at St. Regis, Lower Parel. According to the invitation, the wedding will be held at 6.30 PM at Pallazio Banquet (8th floor), which will be followed by the party at 10 PM at Imperial hall of the luxury hotel.

Bride-to-be Bipasha is personally looking into every minute detail of the functions. Her parents who have arrived from Kolkata a few days ago are helping her with the arrangements, as per reports.
