Bigg Boss 10: Police arrives to arrest Swami Om

Bigg Boss 10’ contestant Swami Om Ji Maharaj got a setback when the Delhi Police arrived on Bigg Boss premises to take the self-proclaimed godman into custody.

However, Swami Om being the stubborn man that he is, refused to move out of the house. So, the police officials just got his signatures on some documents and left, while the godman remained inside the house, as per a report in Business of Cinema.

Soon after ‘Bigg Boss 10’ kick-started in October, it was reported that Swami Om was accused committing theft, besides being involved in seven cases under the Arms Act and TADA (Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act).

He was issued four bailable warrants for allegedly breaking into his brother Pramodh Jha’s shop and stealing bicycles, spare parts and other important documents. He was supposed to appear before a Delhi court on October 14, two days before entering the Bigg Boss house. However, since he failed to appear, a non-bailable warrant was issued against him, seeking his presence on November 8. The copy of this warrant had gone viral on the internet. But he was inside the ‘Bigg Boss house and, naturally, failed to appear, leading to this whole drama.

Further, according to an investigation report of Delhi Police, Om Ji was exposed by Defence Colony officials, who found arms and ammunition in his possession. He was also found to be in possession of obscene photographs of women, which he allegedly used to extort money.

Swami Om is the most controversial participants of the reality show this season. He has been creating a lot of ruckus inside the house, annoying his fellow housemates with his weird antics and double standards, and making sexist remarks about female contestants.

Swami Om has turned out to be a good TRP grosser for ‘Bigg Boss 10’!
