Big B suffers withdrawal symptoms as ‘Te3N’ wraps up


Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has wrapped up the shooting for the Kolkata scheduled of upcoming thriller ‘Te3N’ and the actor seems to be really missing it.

The 73-year-old actor said the he experienced “withdrawal symptoms” while closing the shoot and described his feelings on his blog.

“The withdrawal symptoms predominated at the closing of the ‘last shot’ with the unit... as is wont...and the disappearance from the love of the Kolkatans is truly the pain greater than any other. I truly feel like a fish out of water,” he wrote.

Amitabh Bachchan posted a couple of pictures of him in a fish marked and wrote about his experience of indulging in the food item at an old Kolkata restaurant in the sixties.

"The closest I ever got to fish, when I did indulge in fish, was the prawn cocktail .. the prawn cocktail form a particular restaurant in Kolkata .. Kolkata during those days of yore .. the 1962 - 68 times .. prawn cocktail from 'Skyroom', a restaurant on Park Street, our daily haunt .. the Street, not the prawn cocktail .." he posted.

Big B began shooting for the film in the city of joy in late November last year, along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidya Balan who will make a special appearance in the film. The ‘Wazir’ actor bid adieu to the city via Twitter and also thanked the people.

“Thank You Kolkata,” he posted and also shared an image of him waving at the crowd who have thronged on the set.

‘Te3N’ is being directed by Ribhu Dasgupta while ‘Kahaani’ director Sujoy Ghosh is the creative producer of the film. ‘Te3N’ will hit theatres later this year.
