Big B, Hrithik, Sushmita Sen at Vashu Bhagnani's party
The who’s who of Bollywood, incuding Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan were spotted at Vashu Bhagnani’s special party to honour his two decades and twenty-five films in Bollywood. Vashu’s son Jackky was seen playing the perfect host at the event held at Mumbai’s Hotel JW Marriott on Saturday, which began around 10 pm and continued till 1 am.
Bhagnani has produced such blockbusters as ‘Coolie No. 1’, ‘Hero No. 1’ and ‘Biwi No.1’ and is one of the big producers of B-town with 25 films in his career under the banner of Puja Films. It is indeed a great number for a producer. And to praise the filmmaker’s achievement, Bollywood bigwigs like Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh with wife Genelia D’Souza and Arshad Warsi came together at the party. Other B-town celebs who were seen at the event were Dia Mirza, Sushmita Sen, Sajid Khan, Tamannaah Bhatia, veteran actor Randhir Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, David Dhawan, Anupam Kher, Shakti Kapoor, Esha Gupta, Chunky Pandey and Anu Malik.
According to reports, the producer got nostalgic at this star studded event and said that when he first came to Mumbai he use to stand outside Big B’s Juhu residence and never thought he would work him one day. He said, “If I got a rare glimpse of him, it was a day well spent. I never imagined one day, I’d cast him in ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’.”
In return Big B had a lot of good things to say about the producer as well. The 71-year-old megastar called him a generous producer. Big B reportedly said, “And what’s most nice is the permanent smile on his face – it’s a sign of a very content man.”
According to reports, Sushmita Sen who starred in his movie ‘Biwi No. 1’ remembered how Bhagnani had sent a team to Miami to pick up clothes for her, telling them, “Buy all the top brands for Sush, no compromise.”
