The sixth season of ‘Kaun Bannega Crorepati’ comes to and end, only two episodes left and as the show is nearing to its end, the host and megastar Amitabh Bachchan gets emotional. ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ is not only a quiz show but it is a show that connects Big B with the people of India. While shooting the last episode, Big B says there is "a feeling of great remorse".

The last episode of the sixth season of KBC will be aired on January 26th. "The season endeth here of KBC! A sadness prevails and there is a feeling of great remorse...," Amitabh posted his Facebook page Sunday.

Amitabh Bachchan has been hosting the quiz show since 2000. His down to earth attitude, his friendly gesture, his soothes and simplicity took the show to a new height. His awesome connectivity with the audience makes the producer to sign him as the host of KBC again and again.

Out of the six seasons, the 70-year-old hosted the show all seasons except for the third one, Shahrukh Khan took the host seat in 2007 but he could not bring charm to the show like Big B and was replaced.

"A feeling that cannot be described in words... it is the audience that comes so religiously and stays so calm and disciplined... thank you all ... I hope I can be back with you soon... love to all," he wrote.

The sixth season of KBC was historic as Sunmeet Kaur Sawhney became the first woman to win the big prize on the show so far. She walked away with the bumper prize of Rs.5 crore and another contestant Kashmir-based Manoj Kumar Raina won Rs.1 crore.
