Bollywood always makes a statement about fashion and style. 2014 saw some of the best dressed personalities of Bollywood reaching to new heights.
1. The dhak dhak girl Madhuri Dixit may not have a hot film under her belt for quite some time, but she continues to steal the limelight as far as style is concerned. She looked fabulous in a Varun Bahl saree during the unveiling of her wax statue at Madame Tussand’s.
2. Deepika Padukone carried on the tradition of wearing a saree with unparalleled grace. She wore a Dev R Nil creation on 2014 NDTV Awards night and all eyes were upon her.
3. While Deepika represented the traditional Indian garb with pride, Priyanka Chopra reached new heights with her unerring dress sense and western wear. She wore a multi colored top by Nida Mahmood and teamed it up with a short black skirt during the promo of ‘Gunday’ and she looked fabulous.
4. Alia Bhatt has made a name for herself in Bollywood with her films, but she was also one of the best dressed celebrities of the year. She wore a demure blue dress while attending the book launch of ‘2 States’. The dress was designed by Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna and she looked young, sweet and very attractive in it.
5. While Kareena Kapoor is known for her western wear, she appeared in a new and stylish avatar wearing a simple saree at Umang 2014 which is Mumbai police show. The saree had a beautiful combination of pink, white and black colours. A different but highly stylish ensemble!
6. Neha Dhupia has always been in the news because of her outfits and she continued to experiment quite successfully with different dresses in 2014. The highlight was a black maxi by Myoho which made her look stylish and confident. She wore the dress during the promotion of her film ‘Ekkees Topon Ki Salami’, in Jaipur.
7. Chitrangada is another newcomer in Bollywood who always dresses in style. She carried off a Gauri and Nainika dress with many ruffles with great style at a Filmfare calendar 2014 launch event.
8. Hrithik Roshan is one of the best dressed men of Bollywood. He managed to wear even casual clothes with style. He appeared in denims for the promo of his film ‘Bang Bang’ and swept his fans off their feet.
9. Ranveer Singh is another actor who always carries his dress in style. He decided to go the unconventional route and wore a trendy light coloured suit by Tom Ford at the IIFA Awards this year. He definitely carried it off and is one of the best dressed celebs of B town.
10.Salman Khan is the undisputed leader when it comes to cool yet relaxed style of dressing. Recently, he added a new dimension by wearing a ‘Being Human’ tie.
