Bajrangi Bhaijaan overtakes Baahubali in just 10 days


Salman Khan's ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ which has been on a record-breaking spree ever since it hit theatres has not only become the highest grosser of the year, but also performing exceptionally well in international arena.

With a heart-touching story and great performances by the actors, the Kabir Khan directorial has garnered nearly Rs 241 which is more than the domestic collection of ‘Baahubali’ during the corresponding period which stood at Rs 224 crore, according to Box Office India.

Moreover, the movie’s global collection has also left behind the worldwide earnings of S S Rajamouli’s epic film. While Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer ‘Baahubali’ made Rs 416 crore gross till the sixteenth day of its release, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ easily surpassed it with its business of Rs  425 crore in a matter of just ten days.

The Salman Khan film is now close on the heels of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Chennai Express’ which is ranked third among highest grossing Indian films with a lifetime collection of Rs 428 crore and is set to challenge the collections of Aamir Khan starrer ‘Dhoom 3’ with Rs 542 crore.
